July 22 2010 Medicines Global Outdoor Youth Ambassadors learn to Belay & Climb with collaborating partner the LAPD/PAL at the Torrance-South Bay YMCA. 
The LA Police Department (SOUTHEAST AREA) Police Activities League (PAL) have created a collaboration with Medicines Global that will allow MGOYA exponential opportunities to create innovative programs to explore the planet! 
KEEN’s 2006 $25,000 regional grant provided the development and continuation of Medicines Global Outdoor Youth Ambassador (MGOYA) programs. To date, Medicines Global has provided more than 700 MGOYA wilderness experiences in the US and 9 international expeditions to Nepal, El Salvador, Guatemala, Sri Lanka & Haitian Relief in the Dominican Republic.
