Partner Requirements
In order to become and maintain being a Partner on Planet Explore, you agree to the following requirements which The North Face may modify at any time without notice, effective upon its posting to the website. A Partner’s continued use of the website constitutes acceptance to any updated requirements.
All Partners must comply with The North Face User Agreement In particular, Partners will only post User Content in compliance with the User Agreement and User Content will not infringe on or violate the rights of any third parties.
At all times, Partners will conduct themselves in a professional manner while using the Planet Explore site and during events and activities. Partners will conduct all events and activities in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to safety, permits, insurance, adult supervision, etc. Partners must always get written Parental or Guardian consent for any events or activities involving minors.
Partners will partake in ethical behavior at all times. Partners will not list events on the Planet Explore calendar that are advertising or sales driven events. All communications to Planet Explore members must be purely about outdoor participation. If you receive personally identifiable information from a member of Planet Explore, you agree to handle such information in compliance with your privacy policy which shall be equal to or more protective of personally identifiable information than The North Face Privacy Policy and, if applicable, with COPPA (Children’s Online Privay Protection). Under no circumstances shall you resell or transfer such information to a third party without clear consent of the user.
Partners are expected to update their Planet Explore page frequently to ensure engaging and pertinent User Content is up at all times and all User Content must comply with the User Agreement. Partners will only include photos/blogs/podcasts that are relevant to their group or to one of the activities that Planet Explore supports and Partner will ensure that it has all legal clearances and permissions necessary to post User Content, such as photos.
Planet Explore is a positive online community. By participating, Partners agree to be positive about Planet Explore, The North Face and our mission. Partners and their employees and agents agree not to publically disparage or criticize Planet Explore, The North Face, Planet Explore Partners or the products, events and activities of such groups.
Partners understand and agree that The North Face may terminate a Planet Explore Partner at any time for any reason or no reason. The North Face may remove User Content from Planet Explore at any time for any reason or no reason.
