5. Frogs and toads crossing roads on a warm rainy night
6. Warm sun on your face
7. Shorts being worn before their time
8. Open windows
9. Bulbs popping up
10. Winter coats put away 

One of our earliest spring wildflowers, due to arrive soon, is Purple Dead-nettle. Like many of our plants this was introduced from Eurpoe.
