The 2009 Joshua Tree Experience presented by the North Face was a huge success - bringing in over $75,000, surpassing our goal and doubling what was raised for the Joshua Tree Experience 2008. This event wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated fundraisers, volunteers, trip leaders, staff, sponsors and donors who went above and beyond to make this year’s event a memorable one.
Participants had an amazing two days; climbing, hiking, slack lining and yoga-ing with high spirits. We hope all the participants found for the first time or rediscovered the power of the outdoors.
All proceeds from the Joshua Tree Experience will go to empowering at-risk and underprivileged youth to make positive, lasting changes in their lives through comprehensive outdoor programming. A special thanks to all our donors and sponsors who supported this year’s event.
